Petra Hanáková
Petra Hanáková (1974) is an art historian and curator. She graduated in Art History at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava and in Film Studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She worked at the Institute of Art History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, at the Department of Art Sciences of the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and at the Institute of Art and Science of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Since 2008 she has been curator of the collection of other media at the Slovak National Gallery. She is interested in the theory of the museum, Slovak film and visual culture of the 20th and current century and exhibition curation. She is the author of Ženy-inštitúcie? (VŠVU/Slovart 2010). She has published in the magazines Ars, Profil, Kinečko, Kino-ikon, SNG Yearbook, a.o.
