Mladen Stilinović (10 April 1947, Belgrade, Yugoslavia - 18 July 2016, Pula, Croatia) was a Croatian conceptual artist and one of the leading figures of the so-called "New Art Practice" [Nova umjetnička praksa] which developed in Yugoslavia in the late 1970s. He lived and worked in Zagreb, Croatia.

Stilinović was part of the Grupa šestorice autora [Group of Six Artists], active in Zagreb from 1975 to 1979, a cofounder of Galerija Podroom [The Basement Gallery] which operated from 1978 until 1980, and director of Galerija proširenih medija [The Expanded Media Gallery] between 1981 and 1991. In 1994, he collaborated with the Irwin group on the project Retroavantgarde. Over the course of his career he has developed a grammar around concepts like money, time, power, pain, work and language, upon which he sustains a constant exercise of resistance, waged from a standpoint of absurdity and irony, against systems of power and their apparatuses of reproduction.

He had numerous exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, and his works are part of renowned international collections, both public and private, like the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Museums of Modern Art in New York, Stockholm, Vienna, Ljubljana, Zagreb, and Banja Luka, as well as the Zbirka Filip Trade (Filip Trade Collection) in Zagreb.
