James Anderson (1813, England - 1877, Italy) was an English original photographer, who exercised his activity in Rome in the mid-nineteenth century. His son Domenico Anderson (1854-1938) was a photographer too, and he took over the business after his father's deaths; at his death, his archive was bought by the Fratelli Alinari firm, in Florence, which is still extant.
