Anna Kravets

Anna Kravets (Kyiv, Ukraine) is a radio artist and podcast producer with a background in cultural studies and social sciences. In her work and research projects, she has addressed the aesthetics of language and affective aspects of power relations, mechanisms of collective imaginary, anthropology of voice, experimental media, precarity, work in migration and other topics. Anna uses radio art for her reflections about the world, diving into philosophy and social science, often experimenting with non-hierarchic relation between speech and non-discursive elements. She formerly hosted a radio show about the transformations of work and leisure on Radio Ukraine International. She currently dedicates her work to depicting the everyday life of Ukrainian people facing the russian aggression. (2022)
