Olga Sezneva is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam. Her main interests lie at the intersection of migration, urban studies (with a particular focus on urban design and environment), cultural sociology (including social memory, intellectual property and global media markets), and qualitative methods of research.
Olga also serves as a Principal Investigator on the international comparative research project “Media Piracy in Emerging Economies” organized by Social Science Research Council and supported by IDRC (Canada) and Ford Foundation.
