Jakub Frank (1993) is a curator, theorist and art historian. He is a curator at the Olomouc Museum of Art, Olomouc, and editor-in-chief of its Central European Art Database project. Previously, he worked as PR and communication manager at the Plato gallery in Ostrava. Since 2013 he has been the curator of Cella Gallery and Hovorny and a member of the Bludný kámen association in Opava. Since 2017 he has been the curator of the art section of the Luhovaný Vincent festival and a member of the Olomouc collective 8848, and since 2020 he has been the co-curator of the Ostrava festival of art in public space Kukačka. His activities include mapping and promoting independent audiovisual culture and organising exhibitions and concerts in Opava, Ostrava and Olomouc. In 2016, he co-founded the dormant platform for the presentation of contemporary art Kon:post. (2020)
