Francis Joseph Bruguière (1879-1945) was an American-born photographer. He also worked as a director, producer, painter, and sculptor. However, he remained wkown as a photographer. His pictures from the earthquake of San Francisco have today historic character. Many of his other pictures are innovative and make him one of the pioneers of modern photographic art before the 1920s.
