Fylkingen is an artist-run, non-profit association for experimental music and art. It was founded in 1933, making it one of the world's oldest forums of its kind.
Today, the association consists of more than 100 active members who are developing and presenting new work across electro-acoustic and other forms of experimental music, dance, film, video, performance art and installations. It is run by an active board and programming group. In 2023 it relocated to a temporary location in Bredäng, Stockholm.
Each year Fylkingen presents over a hundred events and continues to play a vital role in connecting artists and the general public in Sweden with contemporary artists throughout the world.
