Anton Lapov is a media artist, computer musician and curator from Ukraine. Coordinator of media-art collective Art Cluster R+N+D and founder of digital record label BOCTOK, Lapov has been curating and participating in events in the field of experimental electronic music and media-art in Ukraine and abroad for more than a decade.
His artistic practice combines methodologies of humanities and critical theory with computational aesthetics ideas. In the past several years his projects were focused on exploring ecosystems via data visualization and sonification, research of militarization of societies by means of web-based art, problems of alternative communication systems through the lens of radio-art among other subjects.
