Sunčica Ostoić
Sunčica Ostoić (HR, 1976) is an art historian, independent researcher and curator of art at the intersection of science, technology and the body, based in Zagreb. She graduated in art history, philosophy and library science from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She holds a PhD in transdisciplinary studies in contemporary art and media (mentor prof dr Miodrag Šuvaković). She is a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and co-founder of the NGO KONTEJNER / bureau of contemporary art praxis (2002) Zagreb where she initiated and curated the internationally renowned art festivals Extravagant Bodies, Touch Me and Device_art. Her interests include the theory and practice of radical new media, body art and performance art in the 21st century. (2023)
