Re-transmission was a gathering of video makers, programmers and web producers developing online video distribution as a tool for social justice and media democracy held on 13-15 October 2006 in London. The two events at the British Film Institute were made up of presentations and screenings, firstly exploring citizen video reporting on the Net, secondly discussing how to collaborate and share content on the net in the new era of Open Source and WebTV.
