Panagiotis Tomaras
Panagiotis Tomaras is a multidisciplinary artist making abstract and montage films, experimental photography, light installations and spatialized sound environments. Graduate of Photography and Audiovisual Arts department of Technological Educational Institute of Athens [GR] and post-graduate in Digital Arts and Film (MA) program of Athens School of Fine Arts [GR] and ArtScience Interfaculty (Mmus) program of Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, the Royal Academy of Art of The Hague and the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts of Leiden University [NL]. His projects investigating the visual medium and the sound experiences.
He has commissioned for theater and opera visuals, commercial teasers, motion graphics and has participated and awarded in several festivals and competitions. He is the creator of the award winning visuals of Clock DVA, the industrial, post-punk and EBM group from Sheffield. Since 2011 has been developing various experiential and responsive environments and has been co-curating the International Festival of Digital Arts and New Media of Greece. He lives and works in the Hague [NL] and Athens [GR].
