Meta Štular
Meta Štular is a cultural project developer from Slovenia.
Meta is the founder of the Culturemaker Institute – a Slovenian agency focusing on cultural development and project management in the area of culture and urban regeneration. She is working with diverse forms of organizations ranging from non-governmental to governmental sectors, intergovernmental institutions, networks and private companies in Slovenia and abroad. Her professional experiences cover the fields of popular music, fine arts, comics, design and performing arts. Meta holds a master’s degree in Cultural Development and Managing Cultural Projects from Lyon II University.
Culturemaker Projects Meta is currently coordinating the nomination of Slovene architect Jože Plečnik’s work for inscription on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and managing RogLab, an interdisciplinary production space and cooperation platform with focus on 3D technologies in the field of design, architecture and visual arts for Ljubljana City Museum. She worked as project manager of the conference “New Paradigms, New Models – Culture in EU External Relations” within the frame of Slovenia’s EU presidency and as the developer and manager of the Balkan Incentive Fund for Culture Regional Hub.
