Kari Rönkkö is Associate Professor in Software Engineering with emphasize on cooperative and human aspects at the School of Computer Science and Communication, Blekinge Institute of Technology. Current research directions are “code as law”, user experiences for the development and design, archetypes through professional players, how values and norms can act “through” during the entire software lifecycle. Kari has previously conducted eight years of practice focused action research with industry player, led the research group U-ODD, was one of the management team for the research center BESQ, driving strategic development experience within the field of BTH, and published articles on how the plans work in software projects, communication in development, ethnography of engineers, and how social policy did the same job as a hypothetical method.
