Juraj Hoppan is a curator and cultural producer based in Bratislava. As a performance curator at the digital arts-focused Sensorium Festival, he explores intersections of media art, human and non-human music, and new sonic futurism(s) in a site-specific context. He also curates shows for Prague’s based art space Petrohradská kolektiv and co-curates the programme at Bratislava based NEXT Festival, where his focus lies on the diversity of global club sounds.

Since 2017 he runs a series of events called Plnka that connects the dots between new sounds from the experimental, club, and sound-art spectrum – with significant help from the likes of Lorenzo Senni, Lea Bertucci, Lonnie Holley, Flora Yin-Wong, Holly Herndon, Meuko Meuko, M.E.S.H., Oli XL, Laurel Halo, Slikback, Ami Yamasaki, Kassem Mosse, Horse Lords, Low Jack, Tomoko Sauvage and many more.
