Ivana Marjanović (b. Belgrade) is an art historian, cultural studies researcher, author, curator and cultural producer. She is the artistic and managing director of Kunstraum Innsbruck. Artistic and managing director of the WIENWOCHE festival in Vienna (2016, 2017, 2018); co-founder and co-curator of the Kontekst Gallery in Belgrade (2006-2009); member of the Kontekst Collective and the AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art) section in Serbia.

Degree in Art History, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade; PhD in Philosophy, Department of Art and Cultural Studies, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She has worked transnationally, in alternative contexts such as the Kontekst Gallery in Belgrade, academic institutions such as the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, visual arts exhibitions such as the October Salon in Belgrade, etc. Research interests - interdisciplinary and situated at the intersection of cultural production, art and politics, shaped by curating in the context of the post-Yugoslavian transitional space and artistic and cultural engagement and teaching in the Austrian migrant society. Starting from artistic and cultural production, her research and writing topics range from Europe of migration, post-colonial, post-imperial and post-socialist Europe, theories and practices of border crossing and anti-Romaism to ambiguities and contradictions in spaces of (leftist, post-colonial) critique.

Since 2019 lives in Innsbruck, Austria; 2006-2019 lived in Vienna.
