Dominik Hlinka is a painter and visual artist who actively incorporates contemporary technologies into his practice and operates in dialogue with the mind of software. The motifs of his canvases have been mostly digital in recent years - the objects that form the models for his paintings are materialized in the form of 3D scans of real objects or environments. He is increasingly speeding up the process of his work (recalculating) and generating new paintings from his older works/motifs. As a result of streamlining the process of creation and striving to achieve an objective result without unnecessary expression, he had a computer-controlled painting machine built. Dominik Hlinka works as an assistant of the Painting Studio (doc. Mgr. art Klaudia Kosziba, ArtD.) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. (2021)
