Artnode is Denmark's first platform for artistic activity on the internet. Since 1994, Artnode has explored and challenged the Internet as a place for non-commercial production and distribution of artistic practice. Putting the development and current significance of the internet for people and society on the agenda is still its goal.
Artnode was formed by Niels Bonde, Nikolaj Recke, Kim Borreby, Christian Heide, Mogens Jacobsen and Martin Pingel in 1995. Since then, the group has changed with participants both joining and leaving Artnode. Today, Artnode consists of Morten Schjødt, Jacob Lillemose, Niels Bonde, Nikolaj Recke, Kim Borreby, Mogens Jacobsen and Martin Pingel. (2024)
