He began his studies of cybernetics at the Technical University in Kaluga, switching to composition at the Music Academy in Moscow, graduating from the St. Petersburg Film School. He started a musical career as a guitarist in a psychedelic punk band, developed through conceptual techno to free improvisation based on stuff collected from flea markets all around the world.
