Joan Leandre

Has been a member of the 'Unknown Frame Observatory' since 1992 and an 'interpreter' at retroyou since 1999. Based in Barcelona. Joan's work has been internationally exhibited at exhibitions and festivals such as Next Five Minutes, Amsterdam (2003), Sonar, Barcelona (2001, 2002 and 2003), "Becomings" at the Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla and "<ALT>DigitalMedia" at the American Museum of the Moving Image, New York (2003). Exhibitions in 2002 included Transmediale, Berlin; the Read-Me Festival, Moscow; Obsevatori, Valencia; The Mirror of Balcans, Belgrade; and Art Futura, Barcelona.
