Art's Birthday Party

Art sponge. OKNO, 2006.

The evening of acoustic arts. Each year on January 17 the virtual network of artists celebrates Robert Filiou's 1963 idea that 1,000,000 years ago, there was no art. But one day, on the 17th of January to be precise, Art was born. According to Filliou (born 17 Jan 1926), it happened when someone dropped a dry sponge into a bucket of water.
