Műhely (Workshop; or 'little Bauhaus'). Sándor Bortnyik, Hungarian painter and graphic designer, moved to Weimar in 1922 and was connected to the Bauhaus. When he moved back to Hungary in 1928 he founded a school of design in Budapest, where he followed Bauhaus principles. Tutors: Iván Hevesy (art history, film), Kálmán Kovács (stage design), Farkas Molnár (architecture), Pál Ligeti (“construction”, cultural history), Sándor Bortnyik (painting, graphic design, advertising design). Existed until 1938.
