Born 1957. Studied musicology at the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague (1977-82), degree PhDr. - music aesthetics (1988), degree Ph.D. (1998) at the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc. Topic of doctor thesis: aesthetics and history of electro-acoustic music. Worked at Music department of Theatre Institute in Prague (1988-94). Secretary of SEAH.
