Born 1930 in Presel’any, Slovakia. Studied architecture at the Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave (1948–1952) and sculpture at the Vysoká škola výtvarných umení v Bratislave (1954–1959), Bratislava. 1961–1969 worked for the School of Applied Arts, Bratislava. 1967 member of Klub konkrétistů, Prague. He lives in Bratislava.
