Mindaugas Gapševičius

Born 1974. Artist, facilitator, and curator living and working between Berlin, London and Vilnius. Studied visual arts at the Academy of Arts in Vilnius and at the Muthesius-Hochschule in Kiel. He has taken part in a numerous solo and group exhibitions around Europe and is an active participant in various conferences, projects and workshops related to networks and digital culture: Re-Approaching new Media, Interfiction, Plektrum, TRACES. Gapševičius collaboratively initiated several major international cultural/educational projects including Abandoned Mystery, o-o Institutio Media (1998) and the Migrating Art Academies. Worked as a network administrator at ISNM, International School of New Media, in Lubeck.
